Curriculum

The Eller Evening MBA is an 18-month accelerated program composed of 10 sequenced sessions of 1-3 courses each and 3 residential sessions.
Courses last from 1-12 weeks depending on the complexity of the material, ensuring that you learn exactly what you need to be successful.
The program begins with a 4-day residential experience, designed to build community and give students a strong foundation in leadership.
In sessions 2, 3, and 4, students build analytic tools and develop a grasp of business functions as they progress through traditional, foundational business topics including accounting, statistics, marketing, economics, and finance.
Session 5 focuses on international management and operations management to provide students significant understanding towards an international trip during session 7.
In session 6, students apply concepts from previous sessions in a team-based innovation project completed during a 5-day residential session.
Session 7, the international trip, allows students to put their classroom learning to the test while visiting businesses and experiencing cultural highlights unique to the specific region.
During session 8 students return to marketing, accounting, and finance to develop higher-level skills and a deeper understanding of the disciplines.
In session 9, students study the intricacies of negotiations, developing their personal abilities at the same time.
Eller Evening MBA students conclude their 18-month journey with a capstone organizational strategy session (session 10), combined with the latest topics in business in leadership.
